House For Rent

We've just finished restoring a beautiful antique cape in Parsonsfield, Maine, and it's available for rent. Click here for pictures and details.

We Do Not Sell Chicks

Given the name of our farm, we can certainly understand the confusion. But for us, "Chick" is a family name. If you're looking to buy baby chickens, contact your local feed store or order from one of the many hatcheries online.

Campsite Shut Down

We are sorry to report that we've been forced to close down our sweet little HipCamp campsite because of a complaint filed against us by Jake Moody of Ogunquit Farm RV Resort. Maybe Jake thought our one little campsite was a threat to his 150-site RV campground, but we don't know, since he never contacted us directly.

Over the past three years we've really enjoyed meeting campers from all over the US and Canada and helping them enjoy the many attractions to be found in Wells and the State of Maine. It's been a fun retirement hobby for us and we're sad to have to give it up. This winter we'll try to find a solution that will address the complaint in a way that's cost-effective for just a single campsite. It may prove to be impossible, but we haven't given up hope. Stay tuned!

Tent Camping

Something new at Chick Farm! If you're looking for a quiet and super-private place to pitch a tent, check out our HipCamp listing. Our first campsite had plenty of use this year and a second site is in the works for next year.

Backyard Chickens

Have you been wanting your own backyard chicken flock but weren't sure where to start? Join us for our Backyard Chickens class, a fun and informative one-night workshop where you will learn all the basics for producing your own eggs right in your backyard. The course is Thursday April 27, 6-9pm, at Traip Academy in Kittery, Maine.

Organic Asparagus

Check back with us in May of 2022 to see when and where our organic asparagus will be available.
